Meet The Team

Spencer is Becca’s husband and joined the team in 2015. With 15 years of experience in the Churubusco Volunteer Fire department, his leadership skills, and mechanical aptitude are instrumental during the new pool build process. He is constantly researching ways to improve the business and utilize the latest technology. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, hunting waterfowl and deer, his time with the fire department, and developing the land around their home.

Becca, one of the Hill twins, worked 6 years as a Physical Therapist Assistant prior to joining the family business in 2019. She spends the majority of her time behind the scenes in the office working with financing, marketing, and overall business development. She is a proud momma to her son Sebastian and spends any spare time she has reading or with her friends and family.

Calvin is Nikk’s husband and joined the team in 2013. While working for Hillside full time, he was able to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He has been Service Manager since 2018 and has been instrumental in overseeing the growth of our service department. His calm and collected demeanor allows him to manage several crews and projects but most importantly manage his 3 kiddos at home, 2 dogs, as well as his wife. He has an extensive bourbon collection and enjoys cheering on the Michigan Wolverines during football and basketball season.

Amanda joined the company part-time in 2015 – 2016. After a short hiatus she re-joined the team in the spring of 2018. She is passionate about helping her customers and loves her work family, which is good because she is related to most of them. She is a proud wife and mother to three beautiful girls. In her free time she enjoys having games nights with family and friends.

Michelle recently joined the Hillside family in the spring of 2022. She came to us with an extensive background in customer service. She is looking forward to learning all aspects of the business and becoming comfortable with the HR and sales side. Hillside installed her and her husband’s pool in 2009 and have been great friends since. She enjoys taking her 2 dogs on walks and entertaining friends and family around the pool.

Haley has worked at Hillside since 2020 adding to our wonderful family business. She enjoys helping the customers and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty helping maintain our robotic cleaners. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her loved ones, especially by the pool!

Ben started working for Hillside in 2013. He worked for 2 seasons, then took a short hiatus until returning in 2017. He has been a vital part of the construction crew and has recently moved into the position of Construction Supervisor, taking the lead on pool projects. When he is not on the construction site, Ben enjoys bowling, golfing, as well as hanging out with friends, family, and his German Shepard – Jax.
